POSITIVE - Caring : Though he rarely outwards shows it, he cares a great deal for his squad and those he deems worthy of his respect. He cares a great deal about saving humanity and keeping the human race alive and will do just about anything to preserve it. - Loyal : Very few people have earned his loyalty, but he remains unwavering in that loyalty once he's given it. If they prove themselves worthy of it, he will listen to someone else's direction and do as told. - Intelligent : Levi has survived a great many things and there's a good reason for it. He's smart and plans things out as much as possible to get a positive outcome. He does leave as many decisions to others to teach them how to accomplish things similarly and keep them alive. - Calculating : Levi does nothing without purpose. He rarely loses his cool and acts rashly, leaving him to walk through any situation and able to achieve almost any goal he sets. - Determined : Levi refuses to give up. He hates to settle for anything. If he wants something, he will get it, whether it be a perfectly clean space, information from an unwilling individual, or the defeat of Titans. This has also resulted in him having the highest Titan kill count of any human.

NEGATIVE - Distant : Levi keeps everyone at an arm's length. He is personality is prickly at best and this is to try and keep himself from getting too attached and later devestated when he loses someone. Again. - Insubordinate : Levi refuses to follow orders. He mocks authority and is crude with those that are "superior" to him. Very few have earned his respect to the point that he will actually listen to them. - Cruel : Levi does not try to nurture those around him. If someone is doing poorly, he makes sure he knows it. He does not spare anyone's feelings and can be seen as a bully when he forces someone into what he needs them to do. - Violent : While his main goal is to preserve human life and he hates to have unneeded casualties, he will not hestitate to hurt someone. He has tortured people and seems to feel no remorse. If he believes violence will save someone, he will use it. - Criminally minded : Levi has not always been an upstanding citizen. He survived for years as a criminal and isn't worried about using such tactics.

biography

Levi Ackerman was born to Kuchel Ackerman in the Underground city. Levi was still very young and unable to take care of himself when his mother died. His uncle, Kenny Ackerman, came to see his sister only to find her dead and her young son in terrible shape. Though he wasn't a good father figure, Kenny still raised Levi to the best of his ability. The young Ackerman learned how to use a knife, violent behavoir, and how to make his own way in life.

One day, Levi picked a fight with someone and easily won. Upon seeing this, Kenny abandoned him, knowing that Levi would be able to take care of himself. Growing up, he soon began to live a thug's life, taking on jobs for money and gaining one important relationship with Farlan Church. Eventually Isabel Magnolia joined them, making them a criminal trio.

In their career as criminals in the Underground to gain money to buy citizenship on the surface, they stole 3DMG Gear and taught themselves how to use it. They became very profiecent, only caught when Erwin Smith and a few others finally caught them. Erwin blackmailed them into joining the Scout Regiment where Isabel and Farlan died on their first expidition out. Levi was devestated by their loss.

Ddespite their loss, Levi remained with the Regiment, using his knowledge and special abilitiy as an Ackerman to continue striking down Titans, quickly becoming Humanity's Strongest Soldier. He has more Titan kills under his belt than any other human and is known for his ruthlessness.

The day of the 56th expidition outside the walls, Levi and the squad leave Trost before the Colossal Titan attacks.
